This newly developed system is based on the proven “RAFIX” one-touch steering wheel attachment/detachment system. By applying RAFIX’s unique patented technology, the ball lock system uses a ball to connect the convex and concave sections, achieving a smooth connection and reducing rattle. Like RAFIX, this is an equipment part with the same high level of safety and reliability. The “RAFIX GTC” ball lock system incorporates advanced technology in every component. It’s a new product from Works Bell & Night Pager that we’re proud of.Commitment to safety and convenience without sacrificing safetyIn case of emergency, the “2-Step Lock” system is used. The lock will not be released unless the safety trigger is slid, preventing the steering wheel from tilting up due to unexpected contact while driving. Additionally, when the steering wheel is tilted up, it is suspended (stopped) in a stepless manner by the engagement of a plunger mechanism. This allows you to adjust the suspension to your preferred position, as well as adjust it to fit the different meter hood shapes of various vehicle models. It also supports the use of a “horn button.” Horn terminals are built into the product’s main body (plug) and tilt-up section (socket). When tilted up, power to the horn switch is cut, and when tilted down and locked, a dedicated electrical contact reconnects securely.Advantages Over Conventional ProductsMany other companies’ products with similar functionality have structural issues that make it difficult to suppress rattle caused by steering radial load. While they offer the convenience of tilting up, they are forced to sacrifice maneuverability and steering feel.
